When tuned and adjusted properly, pianos respond beautifully and are a joy to play. Due to constant weather changes, even in California, pianos need to be tuned at least every six months to maintain stability, and need to be regulated every eight to ten years so that the instrument plays as originally designed

The Assessment Only and Tuning Services include a full inspection of the instrument. You will receive a written report with your invoice.

At a Tuning appointment, after inspecting the instrument, if  I determine that the instrument cannot be tuned at that time or will not hold a tuning, then the Assessment Only fee will apply plus any Travel Fees if applicable and not the Tuning fee.

I tune pianos using the Sanderson Accu Tuner and my own finely tuned hearing. The tuning process takes approximately 2 hours including the inspection and paperwork. I require a very quiet atmosphere while I'm tuning, as I'm listening to extremely low volume sounds below the notes I'm playing. Thank you for your consideration.
